About Starry-Eyed Glassworks handmade beads…

Our handmade glass beads are created using a centuries-old process called “lampworking” where glass rods are melted in a flame.  The molten glass is formed into a bead on a mandrel and decorated using a variety of glass colors, tools, materials, and techniques.  Once complete, the beads are annealed in a special kiln to relieve the stress of heating and cooling.  This process ensures that the beads are durable.
